After many years of writing for a living, I now paint letters.
I live in the South Downs, close to the great yew forest of Kingley Vale with its glorious views across to the Solent.
Fresh air, maps, words and history inspire me, as do the endeavours of my ancestors: seafarers, basket makers, glove cutters and rogues.
